Here at CLI, fall is a very busy time — this fall, especially.

Currently, we’re gearing up for our 80’s theme bingo, which is sure to be a blast! (Shameless plug: Tickets are still available and can be purchased by emailing Elaina or calling her at 301-663-8811). The event will be held at American Legion, Steadman-Keenan Post 96 in Brunswick this Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 4 p.m. We’re pretty pumped about the whole event — from the amazing prizes to the candy buffet — and we can’t wait to see all of our wonderful supporters, friends and family there.

But after bingo, things just get more exciting. We’ve got our first Community Forum Night on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the C. Burr Artz Library right here in Frederick. This will be a great opportunity for businesses, nonprofits, and members of the community to connect and learn more about one another. (Plus, you get free food, and nothing beats free food).

From there, we’ll be gearing up for Giving Tuesday (stay tuned for details on that!) and our annual Snowflake campaign.

With the holidays just around the corner, we’re prepping for a jam-packed season. And we’re so grateful for the chance to plan these events and fundraisers that help us provide the programs and services we’ve been offering for almost four decades.

We hope to see you Saturday!
