Many of you might be familiar with Community Living’s monthly networking event, the Community Forum Night. We started the event almost a year ago with the amazing support of the Frederick County Public Libraries.

We’ve grown significantly over the past 11 months, and we’re so excited to announce some major changes:

  • New name: The event is now called the WhatsUp Community Expo! We love this name because it really shows what the event is all about: A chance to have fun, network and learn what’s going on in our community!
  • New location: We’re so grateful to our friends at the Delaplaine Arts Center for partnering with us for this next step! We will be holding the Expo at the Delaplaine for the next several months.
  • New format: The Forum was just about nonprofits, but the Expo is all about businesses, too! While participating members are all nonprofits, we’ll feature a presentation by a different business every month. The event will begin at 5 p.m. each month, with presentations held from 5:30-6 and from 6-6:30. We’ll have half an hour for more networking, and the event ends at 7 p.m.

As always, dinner is provided! The WhatsUp Community Expo is a networking event that is great for businesspeople, members of the community who are looking to get involved, or just folks who want to see what Frederick is all about. Everyone is welcome! For more information, visit us here or take a look at this flyer.
