Did you know that October is National Disability E Did you know that October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month? This year is the 80th anniversary of NDEAM and the theme is “Celebrating Value and Talent.” We wanted to share some of Community Living’s success stories before October is over! Picture 1: Burt working at New Hope United Methodist Church. He enjoys vacuuming and cleaning there. Picture 2: Colleen has been working at BJ's Restaurant for the past several years now. Picture 3: Brian works at Dunkin, maintaining custodial tasks and the cleanliness and appearance of the store. Picture 4 and 5: Timothy at Aleko's Village Cafe and Nick at Beans and Dreams Nektario's Place. They have a variety of work, from washing dishes, watering flowers, to interacting with customers.
