The Spring 2026 EmployABILITY Showcase was successfully held at The Arc at Market, bringing together 21 talented participants representing The Arc at Market, Community Living, Inc. (CLI), Scott Key Center, Spectrum-Support, and Way Station.
Leading up to the event, extensive outreach efforts helped raise community awareness and support. Promotional activities included radio advertisements on Key 103 and 106.9 The Eagle, social media announcements, and featured information on the EmployABILITY Showcase website.
Participants engaged in a variety of preparatory activities designed to build confidence and strengthen employment readiness skills. Training opportunities included:
· Resume development
· Crafting and delivering 30-second elevator speeches
· Creating professional displays and presentations
· Dress for Success guidance
· Mock interview practice
The showcase displays were exceptional, highlighting each participant’s unique creativity, experiences, and strengths. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about participants’ work histories, educational backgrounds, skills, talents, and employment interests through thoughtfully designed presentations and engaging conversations.
The EmployABILITY Showcase continues to demonstrate the value and potential of individuals seeking meaningful employment opportunities within our community. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this year’s event a success.
