CLI is so excited to be holding our first-ever 5K fundraiser this June!
The #CommunityStrong Walk 2017 will begin with registration/check-in at 9 a.m. June 25 at our Vocational Services building at 24 S. Wisner Street in Frederick. After some quick opening ceremonies, we’ll head out downtown around 10 a.m., circle around Carroll Creek, and come back to Wisner Street. Refreshments will be waiting for walkers once they finish the route.
Complimentary T-shirts will be given to the first 100 people who register by May 25.
While on-site registration will be available, we are asking all participants to please register and fundraise before the event. There is no online registration fee, but individuals must either raise or contribute $25 by June 24. Day-of registration will be $25. We will accept cash, checks or credit cards for day-of registration.
If you don’t want to register online but want to register early, feel free to print and fill out this formย this form. You can either drop it off to us at 620B Research Court before the walk, or bring it with you with your $25 donation the day of the event.
To register online, visit this website and either join a team or create your own by selecting “Set up your fundraiser.” Our fundraising goal is $5,000, so please share your fundraising page with your friends and family. If each of your friends donates just $5, we’ll be well on our way to our goal!
