Last week, Starr, a self-advocate we support, along with our CEO Michael Planz joined hundreds of others advocates in Annapolis to really against the proposed budget cuts to DD services across the state of Maryland.These moments from the rally are a powerful reminder that access to services, support, and dignity is not optional, it’s essential. Every person with developmental disabilities deserves the opportunity to live a full, independent, and meaningful life.Sharing these photos during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and on World Down Syndrome Day makes this even more special.
