It’s officially spring, and it’s finally starting to feel like it. The temperature has been rising (albeit mixed with more than a little rain), and the flowers are starting to bloom.
As we near April, our commercial’s run in Westview Cinema reaches a close. We’re so very thankful for the sponsors who made this dream come true for us: Wegmans, Money Mentor Group, WLR Automotive Group, Soldierfit, and Matt Wesp.
But, with the end of one exciting event comes the start of another. Or, in our case, many others. The next few months will be more than a little busy here at CLI, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Planning is well underway for big bingo fundraiser Saturday, May 13. But while we plan that event, we also will be having fun with many others.
From April 3-10, we’ll be partnering with Twindles Candle Company for a fundraiser. During that time, 35% of ALL sales will benefit CLI! We’re so excited and grateful for their support. And have you seen their candles? From root beer (in actual mugs!) to bacon, they have some truly unique scents that any candle-lover will enjoy.
The next Community Forum Night is Tuesday, April 4. This month’s event will be hosted by The Frederick Center, with dinner sponsored by the great folks at Heartland Home Foods. We’re so excited to hear about the great programs at The Frederick Center!
On Tuesday, May 9, we’ll be back at Alex & Ani, in Montgomery Mall, for another fundraiser. Come on out to buy a beautiful piece of jewelry for Mother’s Day for your mom, mother-in-law, bonus mom, or any special woman who has filled that role in your life. A portion of the proceeds while we’re there will go toward CLI! Details and times to come!
As you can see, the next couple of months will be very busy for us, but we couldn’t be more excited about everything we have coming up.
