Duties: The House Manager is responsible for assisting individuals to identify self-directed outcomes, and to facilitate the provision of supports necessary to achieve these outcomes. Summary of Benefits

VACATION LEAVE

  • One to three years of service: 8 hours per month/12 days per year
  • Four to five years of service: 12 hours per month/16 days per year
  • Six or more years of service: 16 hours per month/24 days per year

SICK LEAVE

  • One hour of sick leave earned for every 30 worked with a maximum of 48 hours per year earned.

HOLIDAY LEAVE

10 holidays per year including:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day

MEDICAL AND DENTAL INSURANCE

CLI offers a number of medical and dental coverage options to associates working a minimum of 30 hours per week. For specific information detailing various levels of coverage, contact the Human Resources Department.

403(b) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN:

CLI provides a 403(b) retirement plan to help its employees achieve financial security for retirement. Employees who meet eligibility requirements for the plan can join at the onset of their employment. Contributions will be matched dollar for dollar for the first 5% of the employee’s regularly scheduled earnings. To be eligible for the match you must have worked 1000 hours and been employed with CLI for 1 year.

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM

Community Living will pay a bonus to any staff member who refers an employee for a position with this agency. The referred employee must successfully complete six months of employment before the bonus is awarded.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

Community Living will reimburse a portion of costs for college credit courses that directly improve employees’ ability in present positions, or will increase their potential for advancement within the agency. Course grades must be B average or higher to qualify for reimbursement.

STATE EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION

Community Living is a non-profit agency that receives its primary funding from the State of Maryland. Therefore, employees are eligible to join the State Employees Credit Union (SECU).
