CLI strives to provide an individualized, quality continuum of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We ensure the people we serve have equitable access to the same opportunities as does the community at large, and we do so in a fiscally and responsible manner.
Community Living, Inc. was founded in 1979 as a not-for-profit agency, providing residential and support services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Frederick County. We began with two homes owned by the State of Maryland, each with six to eight residents. These people had been living at home with their families, or at the Rosewood Center and Henrytown institutions outside of Baltimore.READ MORE

“Two years ago CLI began helping me at Dublin Roasters Coffee. My first task was to paint the 3,700 square feet of walls, which they did. Then I needed help moving 40,000 pounds of green coffee beans and they were there for that task also. Now that we are established, they have settled into a wonderful routine of bagging and weighing beans, stocking shelves, creative tasks, cleaning dishes, flavoring coffee beans, and grinding coffee beans. I highly recommend this agency and their staff to help your business. I could not have grown to where we are today without their help.”
