It seems like things just keep getting more exciting here at CLI.
Here’s the latest bit of good news: Musician Alexander Gallows will be performing at our upcoming Community Fun Day! Check out some of his music here, and you’ll know why we’re pretty psyched to have him.
The Fun Day is going to be a blast — we’ll have food, vendors (Hippy Chick Hummus, Wegmans, WDVM, Styles by Sue, LuLaRoe by Cindy — just to name a few), face-painting, frozen yogurt from Menchie’s, adoptable animals from the Frederick County Animal Shelter, and more.
What we’re really trying to do with this event is promote the importance of inclusion. We believe that everybody, regardless of ability, deserves to be included and have an equal opportunity to succeed. Everybody has something to offer this world — we’re just here to provide the supports that some people need in order to reach their full potential.
We’re hoping that this event is entertaining and enjoyable, and that it serves as a reminder that we’re all here to give and receive love, and have a whole lot of fun in the process.
