We’re pretty lucky

Here at CLI, we know how lucky we are. We are surrounded by an absolutely amazing community that supports our mission and programs. The people and businesses of Frederick are kind, compassionate and giving, and we’ve been fortunate enough to benefit from that generosity time and again.

When it came time to start getting prizes together for this year’s spring bingo, we were overwhelmed by the response we received. Unsolicited messages from small business owners asking us what they could donate for our event to help make it a success truly warmed our hearts. We have received so many prizes that we actually have a few to hold for our fall bingo. How amazing is that?! So, if you don’t see your prize featured this time around, be sure it will be used in our next bingo. We are so grateful, and we cannot say ‘thank you’ enough. But, we can certainly try.

To the following businesses that have donated to our bingo fundraiser, thank you so very much: PSA Insurance & Financial Services; Frederick County Bankthe Frederick County Association of REALTORS; the Legion Riders of Post 96; GMC DesignsHot Fired ArtsShockley HondaColonial Jewelersthe Frederick KeysFloat FrederickThe Orchard RestaurantHeavy Metal PlaygroundThe MuseFirestone’s MarketCircus Meets BoardroomPump it Up FrederickSingle Barrel SoapsChloe + Isabel by AprilCurious Iguanathe North Market Pop ShopJuliet’s Italian Market & Cafethe Fractured PruneBare BitesJulie Manning, Maryland Registered Massage Practitioner; and Isabella’s Tavern & Bar.

We are always appreciative of donations to be used as prizes. Since we hold two bingo fundraisers (and multiple raffles, etc.) during the year, we can never have too many prizes! If your business would like to donate, please contact Elaina.

And, remember, our spring bingo is just under a month away! We’re all set to give out these awesome prizes, plus a $250 cash prize and a $500 cash grand prize. To get your tickets (only $25 per ticket, which includes dinner and dessert!) just call Elaina at 301 663-8811 or shoot her an email. Don’t wait too long, though; we’re selling out fast!
