We have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. As the winter holidays approach, we have been overwhelmed by the love and support of this wonderful community. From b
uying Christmas presents for the people we serve to throwing holiday parties, the people, businesses and organizations of Frederick have proven just how giving this
community really is. We are beyond grateful.
We’d like to give a special shout-out to Trinity United Methodist Church. The members of Trinity are long-time supporters of Community Living. They have generously given of their time, space, and money, to help further our mission. This past weekend, they held their annual holiday party for the people we serve. The event featured live music, great food, and plenty of presents under the tree. The folks here at CLI look forward to that party all year long, and it never disappoints.
But what Trinity does isn’t just limited to the holiday season. Whether they’re hosting a party for the people we serve or providing a venue for one of our events, they are always willing to help out however they can. We are so thankful to have them as partners and supporters!
We’d also like to extend our gratitude to the employees of Sam’s Club, in Frederick, and those of AstraZeneca, also in Frederick. When we were in need of holiday presents for the people
we serve, a number of people from both organizations generously donated several wish list items. It will be a great Christmas/holiday season for the folks here at CLI!
Thank you to these wonderful organizations, as well as all the folks who have donated, volunteered their time, or helped out the people at CLI in other ways. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such a giving community.
